Το Photometria Ioannina Photography Festival διοργανώνει διαγωνισμό φωτογραφικού Portfolio με ελεύθερο θέμα.

Από τους συμμετέχοντες ζητάμε ένα (1) portfolio δεκαπέντε (15) φωτογραφιών, εκ των οποίων, θα επιλεγούν οι οκτώ (8). Μέσα από αυτές, ο φωτογράφος θα πραγματεύεται ένα θέμα της αρεσκείας του, μια ιδέα ή ακόμα και την αφήγηση μιας ιστορίας .

Η επιλογή θα γίνει βάσει των εξής χαρακτηριστικών των portfolios:

Α. Η συνάφεια των φωτογραφιών με το θέμα.

Β. Η συνοχή του συνόλου των φωτογραφιών ως ένα ενιαίο σετ.

Γ. Η καλλιτεχνική και αισθητική ποιότητα του συνόλου των φωτογραφιών.

            Κάθε φωτογράφος θα πρέπει να στείλει τις φωτογραφίες του σε ψηφιακή μορφή με e-mail στο portfolio@photometria.gr (σε περίπτωση μεγάλου όγκου αρχείου μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε σελίδες όπως το  www.wetransfer.com) .  Ο τίτλος που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί στο e-mail θα αποτελεί και το θέμα του portfolio. Επίσης, στο e-mail θα πρέπει να σημειωθούν και τα παρακάτω στοιχεία:

• Ονοματεπώνυμο (με ελληνικούς και λατινικούς χαρακτήρες)
• Πατρώνυμο
• Διεύθυνση/Πόλη
• Τηλέφωνο

Σε περίπτωση που οι φωτογραφίες απεικονίζουν πρόσωπα εν αγνοία τους ή χωρίς την έγκριση τους, την ευθύνη φέρει αποκλειστικά ο φωτογράφος στον οποίο ανήκει το έργο και όχι το PIPF.

Για τα portfolios που θα διακριθούν θα ζητηθεί ένα μικρό κείμενο (100 λέξεων π.), με το οποίο θα περιγράφεται εν συντομία το θέμα που έχει επιλέξει ο φωτογράφος, καθώς και το σκεπτικό του φωτογραφικού τρόπου προσέγγισής του ή ό,τι αυτός νομίζει καλύτερο για την δουλειά του (π.χ. βιογραφικό σημείωμα).

Το εν λόγω κείμενο θα αναρτηθεί μαζί με τις φωτογραφίες του στην έκθεση που θα ακολουθήσει.

Η μεγάλη πλευρά των φωτογραφιών που θα αποσταλούν θα πρέπει να είναι 1500 pixels, 

ανάλυση 300 ppi

            Από τους διακριθέντες του διαγωνισμού, θα ζητηθεί εγκαίρως να στείλουν τις φωτογραφίες τους σε πλήρη ανάλυση για την έκθεση που θα ακολουθήσει.

Τελευταία ημέρα αποστολής των φωτογραφιών ορίζεται η 31^η Δεκεμβρίου 2014.

            Τα αποτελέσματα θα ανακοινωθούν στην ιστοσελίδα του φεστιβάλ (www.photometria.gr),

στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, ενώ οι νικητές θα ενημερωθούν και μέσω e-mail.

Τα portfolios που θα διακριθούν θα αποτελέσουν το υλικό των εκθέσεων 

με τίτλο "Parallel Voices" που θα γίνουν σε χώρους που θα ανακοινωθούν από το φεστιβάλ. 

Το PIPF διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να χρησιμοποιήσει τις φωτογραφίες που θα διακριθούν στην προώθηση των εκθέσεων  αυτών (καθώς και σε μελλοντικές προωθητικές ενέργειες του φεστιβάλ), με αναφορά στον δημιουργό στον οποίο ανήκει το έργο.

Τα εκτυπωμένα portfolios θα κρατηθούν στο αρχείο του φεστιβάλ.

Οι φωτογραφίες θα κριθούν από τον καλλιτεχνικό διευθυντή του φεστιβάλ κ. Ιάσων Δήμου

Το παρόν κείμενο πρέπει να σταλεί μαζί με τις φωτογραφίες και σημαίνει την αποδοχή των παραπάνω όρων του φεστιβάλ από τον εκάστοτε συμμετέχοντα.

“Photometria" Ioannina Photography Festival is organizing a contest.

We are asking from the participants to submit one (1) portfolio of fifteen (15) photographs, eight (8) of which will be selected. Through these photographs, the photographer will present a favorite subject, an idea or the narration of a story. The subject is open.

The selection will be made based on the characteristics of the portfolios, which are:

A. The relevance between photographs and subject.

B. The cohesion of the photographs as a whole, in order to consist a unity.

C. The artistic and aesthetic quality of all photographs.

Each photographer must send his/her photographs in digital form to the following e-mail: portfolio@photometria.gr (for very large archives you may also use websites like www.wetransfer.com). The title that will be used in the e-mail will be the theme of the portfolio. The e-mail must also contain the following:

• Name and Surname
• Name of father
• Address/City
• Telephone

In case the photographs depict faces and people without their permission for the shooting, any responsibility lies exclusively with the photographer that owns the project and not with the PIPF.

For the portfolios that will be distinguished a small text of about 100 words will be asked, in order that the photographer's chosen theme can be described, as well as his/her way of thinking about the manner in which he/she approaches it, or whatever the artist thinks is most suitable for his/her work (a curriculum vitae for instance). The text will be posted along with his/her photographs at the exhibition that will follow.

The large side of the photographs that will be sent must be 1500 pixels with definition of 300 ppi.

From the selected artists, it will be asked to send their photographs in full definition for the exhibition that will follow.

December 31^st, 2014 is the last day for sending your photographs.

The results will be announced on the festival's website (www.photometria.gr) and in social media, and winners will also be informed through e-mail.

The selected portfolios will form exhibitions titled "Parallel Voices" that will take place in spaces, which will be announced by the festival.

The PIPF preserves the right to use the selected photographs in order to promote these exhibitions (as well as in future promotion of the festival), always with the proper credit to the creator of the project.

The printed portfolios will be kept in the festival's archive.

The photographs will be judged by the artistic manager of the festival, Mr. Iason Demos.

The present text must be sent along with the photographs as proof that each participant accepts the above terms of the festival.
